Jay Poindexter, LMT
I am a licensed massage therapist based in St Petersburg, with mobile service to the Tampa Bay area.
I had a successful career as a professional actor-singer-dancer in New York during my 20s and 30s. I credit routine massage and other therapies for keeping my body healthy and my mind clear so I could maintain the stamina for performing eight shows a week. After sustaining a lumbar injury in a workplace fall, massage was central to my rehabilitation and recovery. I am still amazed at how my body and mind respond to the healing power of intentional touch.
In 2013, after relocating to Florida, I became a massage therapist to share my passion for healing and self-care, both physically and mentally.
